Stewart Lines was given a ten-second time penalty for a starting procedure infringement.
Carl Boardley was originally disqualified from the race for contact with Adam Shepherd - "the penalty reflects the continued amount of contact between cars 1 and 117 all season". However, the penalty was later reduced to a ten-place grid penalty for race two, as the original penalty was deemed to be "harsh for a first corner incident".
Adam Shepherd was given a post-race 15-second penalty for gaining an unfair advantage by passing Cedrich Bloch prior to the control line at the safety car restart.
