Twenty drivers will compete for gold in the inaugural Touring car Cup of the first FIA Motorsport Games at Vallelunga in Italy on 1-3 November, after the final entry list was published.
The format will consist of the typical TCR weekend format, with two free practice sessions on the Friday, followed by two qualifying sessions on Saturday, one for each race, and the first race.
The second race will take place on the Sunday. Whilst the first race will be 25 minutes plus one lap in duration, race two will be slightly longer at 30 minutes plus one lap.
Eight different brands will be represented on the grid, with TCR cars coming from Alfa Romeo, Audi, CUPRA, Honda, Hyundai, MG, Peugeot and Volkswagen.
The entry list features a mixture of experienced touring car racers, such as Tom Coronel, Mat’o Homola, Rory Butcher and Luca Engstler, together with some new names from countries such as those in the Baltic region, with Lithuani’s Julius Adomavičius and Latvia’s Valters Zviedris in the mix.
The final winner will be determined as the driver who scores the most points from the two races.
