Michelle Halder will embark upon her second season in the ADAC TCR Germany series in 2019, moving to Honda machinery as she pursues further podium finishes.
19-year-old Halder made her début in the series in 2018, racing a CUPRA TCR under the ‘Profi-Car Team Halder’ banner.
She immediately proved to be a strong racer, sensationally claiming the first female TCR Germany podium finish in her second meeting at Most in the Czech Republic.
Halder followed it up later in the year with another podium at the Sachsenring on her way to an impressive ninth overall in the drivers’ championship standings.
In 2019 she will return to the grid in a Honda Civic Type-R.
“The wait is over – I cannot take the grin off my face,” said Halder. “After the sensational 2018 season in touring car racing, I’m looking forward to racing again this year.
“I always want to achieve my goals and end up in the top five.”
