Power Maxed Racing confirms return to TCR UK in 2025

Power Maxed Racing has confirmed that it will return to the TCR UK grid in 2025, fielding a brace of Hyundai i30 N TCR cars as part of a Junior programme.

The Warwickshire-based team has previously raced in the series with CUPRA machinery, and won races with Alex Morgan in 2021 and Jac Constable in 2021 and 2022. It also ran a Hyundai for Chris Wallis in 2022.

For the past two seasons, Power Maxed Racing has been absent from TCR UK, instead focussing on its British Touring Car Championship campaign.

Now the team will return to TCR UK next year with two as-yet unannounced drivers, alongside continuing its BTCC presence.

“I’m very happy to get Power Maxed Racing back on the TCR UK grid for the 2025 season,” said Team Manager Martin Broadhurst. “We enjoyed our time previously in the championship and enjoyed a lot of success.

“Returning for next season with Hyundai as our chosen brand means that we are working with a well-known and successful car in the i30 N TCR.

“This means that we can provide a stable starting point for the two junior drivers who will be on board with us next year.”

TCR UK Promoter Stewart Lines is pleased to welcome back an established team to the series.

“It’s fantastic news to see Power Maxed Racing announce their return to TCR UK as part of next year’s Junior Touring Car Programme,” added Lines.

“We need to find the next generation of touring car drivers, and working with PMR will give these young drivers an ideal opportunity during the early part of their motorsport careers.”
