Experienced Argentine racer Fabián Yannantuoni will continue to race a Toyota Corolla TCR for Paladini Racing in the 2024 TCR South America series.
Yannantuoni switched from TC2000 to TCR at the start of the 2023 season, racing one of the then-new Toyotas for the Paladini team.
The 44-year-old claimed his maiden win in the series in the opening race at La Pedrera, and followed it up with another victory at the Velopark in Brazil a month later.
After concluding his season with a third podium at Cascavel, Yannantuoni ended up eighth overall in the drivers’ standings.
It means there will be an unchanged driver line-up at Paladini Racing, with Juan Ángel Rosso also having been confirmed to stay with the team.
“It is important to be able to confirm my continuity in a category that has been growing a lot in the short term,” said Yannantuoni.
“On the other hand, the team prepares in the best way. This long break is important to be able to capture everything that was worked on the previous year.
“For 2024 we have our minds set on fighting for the championship from the first date. We know it is not going to be easy due to the high level in the category.
“Together with Paladini Racing we want to fight for the title with both cars.”
