Alan Gow was yesterday (4 February) reappointed as the head of the FIA Touring Car Commission, following a meeting of the FIA World Motorsport Council.
With his role being extended through 2022 and 2023, it will mark the 13th year that Gow will hold the position as President, which will see him head up the body which oversees FIA-sanctioned touring car competitions both regionally and internationally.
Gow, who is also Chief Executive of the British Touring Car Championship, will continue in his role under the new regime, which is headed up by FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem.
Gow will also continue with his role as a member of the World Endurance Commission, where he has represented the FIA since 2018, for a further two years.
