The TCR South America series has revealed details of it’s 2022 calendar, publishing all of the planned dates and countries and the first three circuits which it will race at.
The second season of the regional touring car series will kick off with a series of events in Brazil, beginning with the Autódromo Velo Città in Brazil on 2 – 3 April.
The series will then move to Interlagos on 30 April – 1 May, before completing its trio of events in Brazil at Goiânia on the 4 – 5 June.
The latter two events will be held in conjunction with the Brazilian Truck Cup.
The next two events will be in Uruguay on 16 – 17 July and 27 – 28 August, although the circuits have not yet been confirmed. In 2021, the series also held two races in Uruguay, at the Rivera and El Pinar circuits, which are expected to return in 2022.
The season concludes with three events in Argentina, on 17 – 18 September, 8 – 9 October and the season finale on 5 – 6 November.
The series will confirm which circuits will stage one-race endurance events in the coming days, along with details of the circuits for the races in Uruguay and Argentina.
