FIA World Touring Car Cup racers Tom Coronel, Esteban Guerrieri and Néstor Girolami will join the grid for this weekend’s TCR South America endurance race at Buenos Aires in Argentina.
For Coronel and Guerrieri, it marks a return to the series, with the pair having previously raced in the endurance event at Curitiba in Brazil earlier in the year.
Coronel paired up with Rodrigo Baptista in an Audi RS3 LMS in Curitiba, with the duo winning the race ahead of Sérgio Jimenez and Beto Monteiro. The two will rekindle their partnership this weekend.
Guerrieri, meanwhile, was paired up with José Manuel Sapag in the last endurance event, and the two will reunite this weekend. Although they retired at Curitiba, they had put the car on pole position.
Raphael Reis will try a different endurance partner this weekend. Having partnered with Valdeno Brito in Curitiba, this weekend the W2 Racing driver will pair up with Néstor Girolami.
Championship leader Oriola (13 points clear of Baptista), meanwhile, will partner with Brutal Fish Racing boss and former team-mate Martin Ryba this weekend.
The endurance event is scheduled to take place on Saturday; qualifying is at 14:30 local time (17:30 GMT) on Friday, whilst the race gets underway at 16:00 local time (19:00 GMT) on Saturday.
