The circuits for the first half of the inaugural TCR South America season have been finalised, with three events in Brazil and one in Uruguay.
The seven-event season will kick off at the Autódromo Internacional de Goiânia in Brazil on 22 – 23 May, before moving on to Velopark in Brazil three weeks’ later and then the Autódromo Internacional de Curitiba at the end of July.
The Curitiba event has also been earmarked as an endurance event in the new regional TCR series.
The fourth event at Autódromo Eduardo P. Cabrera in Uruguay is the last one to have its host circuit confirmed thus far, with the event scheduled for 28 – 29 August.
The season will conclude with two events in Argentina and the season finale on 13 – 14 November in either Argentina or Chile. The venues for these final three events will be confirmed in due course.
The penultimate event of the season has also been flagged as an endurance event.
