Excelr8 Motorsport’s new Hyundai i30 N Fastback has broken cover for the first time at Snetterton, where Senna Proctor and Chris Smiley have been carrying out testing ahead of the British Touring Car Championship season.
Senna Proctor revealed the new car in a social media post on Thursday, with the car yet to be shown off in its 2020 livery.
The team had earlier this month confirmed the appointment of top championship-winning engineer Kevin Berry to bolster its technical department, with Berry working alongside Proctor in the coming season.
Berry has previously worked with Triple Eight Racing, WSR and Cyan Racing in the FIA World Touring Car Cup, who he helped to guide to the Teams’ title last year.
Smiley will be engineered by Danny King, whilst ex-TechSpeed Racing boss Marvin Humphries will act as the Team Manager.
