Halfords Yuasa Racing’s Matt Neal will start from pole position for the third race of the 2019 British Touring Car Championship at Brands Hatch Indy after being drawn onto reverse-grid pole.
The three-time BTCC champion qualified fifth for race one but fell back during the opening encounter on the slower wet tyre in drying conditions, but was the first wet-shod finisher in eighth.
He then went on to finish 11th in race two and has now been drawn onto reverse-grid pole, meaning the top 11 have been flipped, so race two winner Andrew Jordan will start 11th with the maximum ballast of 54kg.
The final race of the day is scheduled to get underway at 17:05 BST.
