Viktor Davidovsky will continue to race in the TCR Europe series in 2019, once again running an FK7-spec Honda Civic for his own PSS Racing team with support from JAS Motorsport.
The Macedonian driver made his TCR début in 2018 in a Honda Civic Type R, failing to break into the points after contesting the full season and taking a best result of 14th at the Hungaroring and again at Assen.
The 38-year-old will now embark on a second season in the European TCR series and is hopeful of closing up on the series frontrunners.
“We are continuing our journey with more knowledge and confidence than last year,” said Davidovsky. “We hope to continue improving our performance as we did throughout the 2018 season.
“We believe in the car and in J.A.S. Motorsport’s support, which has been great so far. Our aim is to close the gap from the front-runners, and we are confident that together with J.A.S. we have the potential to do it. We enjoy every moment of being part of the J.A.S. customer family.
“TCR Europe is indeed a highly competitive championship, with lots of world-class drivers and teams.
“We are a small private team, but we feel like we can offer our contribution to make it popular and exciting.”
