Czech driver Petr Fulín has confirmed his participation in next weekend’s TCR Europe races at Barcelona in Spain, taking his Fullin Race Academy CUPRA to the season finale.
It marks the confirmation of the 41-year-old’s plans, which were first announced back in March. The reigning FIA European Touring Car Cup holder has already taken part in TCR Germany races at Oschersleben and Most, followed by the FIA World Touring Car Cup races in Slovakia in June.
At the start of the year, Fulín already announced his intention to race in the TCR Europe races in Catalunya.
Fulín has already been victorious in 2018, winning the second race at Most in April. He had earlier already taken a second place finish in the second round of TCR Germany at Oschersleben.
Fulín was crowned the FIA ETC Cup champion in 2013, 2014 and 2017.
