Team.HARD’s Mike Bushell marked his return to the British Touring Car Championship with an early lead in the Dunlop ‘Forever Forward’ standings.
The scheme, which rewards the driver who makes up the most positions from their starting slot over each of the 30 race distances, took on a slightly crazy dynamic at Brands Hatch with the tyre lottery of race two.
As a result, the winner of that contest – Power Maxed Racing’s Senna Proctor, who surged through on slicks from 27th to the winner’s circle – sits just a single point behind Bushell, with Tom Boardman and Matt Simpson tied for third.

Colin Turkington won the award for the final race after charging from the back to ninth, with a three-way tie for the honours in the opener, Ollie Jackson, Rory Butcher and Ash Sutton victorious on that occasion.
