Ruben Volt and Levente Losonczy continue with ALM Motorsport

Ruben Volt and Levente Losonczy will continue to race for ALM Motorsport in this year’s TCR Europe series, with both drivers gunning for the title.

Volt, 19, was a title contender in 2024, although the Estonian racer effectively dropped out of the running when he missed the Brno round due to a clashing commitment in TCR Italy, where he had also been fighting for the title.

In the end, Volt ended the year fourth overall in the drivers’ championship, having won twice (at the Salzburgring and Spa-Francorchamps) and scored a further four podium finishes in the 12-race season.

“I’m excited to continue the journey with ALM this year again for the teams’ title defence,” said  Volt.

“The competition looks tougher than ever, and I am excited for the challenge ahead. Bring on Portimão.”

Volt will be joined at ALM, the reigning team’s champions, by Losonczy, who also partnered him in 2024.

Losonczy was sixth overall in last years’ championship and, like Volt, also scored two victories (at Zolder and Brno) and a further two podiums.

The 22-year-old Hungarian driver will be entering into his second full season, although he also contested much of the 2023 campaign having made his début at the third event at Spa that year.

Team Principal Martin Laur is expecting tougher competition in the series this year.

“2024 was an incredible success for the team and the drivers,” said Laur. “We’ll try to keep up the momentum also in 2025.

“The competition in TCR Europe looks really high this year, but we are ready for it.”
