Raphael Reis has confirmed his continued participation in TCR South America, with the Brazilian set to compete at the wheel of a brand new CUPRA Leon Competición VZ TCR in the 2024 season.
Reis, the most experienced driver in the South American series with 46 starts to his name, has raced at the wheel of CUPRA machinery for the past two seasons.
The 40-year-old has scored a total of five wins since he joined the series and has been a title contender for every season he has raced in, finishing third overall in 2021, 2022 and 2023.
He will be one of the first drivers to get his hands on the latest-generation CUPRA TCR car, which will continue to be run by the W2 Pro GP team.
Reis, who has also raced in the FIA Motorsport Games, Stock Light Series in Brazil and the Porsche Endurance Challenge, also finished third overall in the 2023 TCR Brazil series.
