Reigning TCR South America champion Fabricio Pezzini is to partner Paladini Racing’s Fabián Yannantuoni in this weekend’s endurance event at Termas de Río Hondo.
Pezzini announced earlier this month that he was to part ways with PMO Motorsport after the opening two rounds of his title defence, with his plans for the remainder of 2023 being uncertain.
It has now been revealed he will join Paladini Racing for the next event, to become the second driver in one of their Toyota Corolla TCR cars alongside Yannantuoni.
The other car of Juan Ángel Rosso will see Luicano Farroni partner the Argentine.
With Pezzini’s PMO departure freeing up a Lynk & Co, Team Owner Pablo Otero will switch from racing a Peugeot to a Lynk & Co for the next event.
In turn, his own Peugeot seat will be taken by Damián Fineschi, who partners with Facundo Marques for the event.
Several drivers have still to be confirmed for the one-hour race.
