Derek Palmer has had one of his penalties, for being out of position at the start of the first TCR UK series race at Oulton Park, rescinded, giving him fourth place back in the first encounter.
Along with Pyro Motorsport’s Ollie Taylor, Palmer was handed a ten-second penalty during the first race, for having been out of position.
The DPE Motorsport driver spent the entire race running in second on the road, after getting into the position at the start.
His initial penalty, combined with a five-second time penalty for exceeding track limits, would have dropped him to eighth, but the first and larger penalty was later rescinded.
However, the Alfa Romeo driver was still penalised for exceeding track limits and therefore was denied a first podium in the series.
Race two gets underway at 16:25 BST.
