An expanded grid of 14 cars will take part in the third event of the 2018 TCR UK series at Brands Hatch this weekend, with the regular entries being joined by a new entry as well as three returning drivers.
Stewart Lines and Carl Swift, who took part in the season opener but missed the last round at Knockhill, had already confirmed their return to the series as part of Maximum Motorsport in their sequential gearbox CUPRA cars.
Howard Fuller will also return to the grid in Sean Walkinshaw Racing’s Honda Civic which was raced by the team owner in Scotland.
All three WestCoast Racing Volkswagen Golf cars will also take part in the event, with series leader Dan Lloyd having earlier confirmed his continued participation.
Sometime TCR Germany racer Alex Morgan has been entered in a new Renault Mégane TCR by Wolf-Power Racing.
Despite Laser Tools Racing withdrawing their backing for the Alfa Romeo cars, both Giuliettas will be at the event after their continued participation was confirmed by DPE Motorsport, with Derek Palmer Jr being joined by Robert Gilmour.
Team BMR were planning to enter a second Honda Civic alongside Josh Price, but have elected to run just the one car in the end this weekend.
