Young German Justin Häußermann will make his début in the ADAC TCR Germany series in 2018, racing a Volkswagen Golf GTI for Liqui Moly Team Engstler.
Häußermann will partner two of the team’s 2017 drivers, Luca Engstler and Florian Thoma, in the team in the 2018 season.
“We are very happy with our ‘young guns’ and above all our fast drivers in the team,” said Team Principal Franz Engstler. “He immediately convinced in his first test drives and we are looking forward to working with him.”

“We are pleased to be able to continue working with Luca and Florian,” added Treml. “Both have already achieved podium finishes in 2017 and are eager to compete again.
“It will be a year of apprenticeship for Justin, but with our experience and the support of our partners, I am optimistic that we will achieve our goals together.”
The team have also confirmed Luca Engstler and Florian Thoma’s participation in the 2018 TCR Middle East series in preparation for the European racing season. The Middle East season kicks off in Dubai on the 5th and 6th January 2018.
Engstler Motorsport have also confirmed that they will field four cars in the 2018 TCR Germany season, with an announcement expected in the coming weeks about the final driver.
