A readjustment of the Balance of Performance [BoP] for this weekend’s TCR International Series races at the Hungaroring will see the SEAT and Volkswagen cars reduce in weight by 10 kg.
The adjustment has been carried out by the TCR Technical Department, based upon the results from all TCR series and championships so far in 2017.
The SEAT León TCR and Volkswagen Golf GTi TCR therefore drop to 10 kg of BoP weight, taking their total weight to 1,295 kg.
Meanwhile, the Honda Civic TCR has seen its BoP weight increase by 10 kg, taking it to 40 kg of additional weight and a total of 1,325 kg.
Three other variants of the cars, the León V2 DSG, León Cup Racer and the Golf 2016, may now run at 10 kg under the base weight.
All other variants of León and Golf will not carry any additional weight and will run at the base weight of 1,285 kg.
