Toyota Gazoo Racing UK has taken the wraps off its new livery for the forthcoming British Touring Car Championship season, which will be carried by new drivers Gordon Shedden, Árón Taylor-Smith, Ronan Pearson and James Dorlin.
Having sported Toyota’s Gazoo Racing colours since 2021, this year the team will change to a darker colour scheme to match that used by Toyota in its racing activities since last year.
The Speedworks Motorsport-run team also welcomes significant backing from automotive auctioneering company IAA.
Now in its seventh season in the BTCC, the Corolla has already scored 17 race victories and 47 podium finishes, with the team targeting overall title success in 2025.
“We’re delighted to reveal our new colours and to announce such an exciting partnership between Gordon and IAA,” said Team Principal Christian Dick.
“It is the evolution of a fantastic collaboration that we enjoyed with one of IAA’s business units last year, and this agreement really takes that blossoming relationship to the next level.
“We warmly welcome them on-board and look forward to a thrilling season ahead.
“Just like IAA, we work tirelessly to be the best in our field – a field that, in the BTCC, is as tough as it gets.
“We have great ambitions for the forthcoming campaign, and with Gordon, Árón, Ronan and James on the driving strength, I am very confident it can be our best season yet.
“Incorporating the eye-catching IAA design with the iconic black, white and red of TOYOTA GAZOO Racing, the Corolla will truly stand out on-track in 2025, and we all know what they say about a car that looks quick…”
The BTCC season launch is taking place at Donington Park today (15 April) with the season opener also set to take place at the Leicestershire venue on 26 – 27 April.
