Team Clairet Sport will return to full-time TCR competition in 2025, with brothers Jimmy and Teddy Clairet returning to the TCR Europe series for their first full seasons since 2021.
The Frenchmen were regulars in the TCR Europe series from 2019 to 2021, when they scored a win each whilst racing in Peugeot 308 TCR machinery.
Teddy, 31, has scored the best overall result, ending the 2021 campaign in sixth overall, whilst Jimmy, 34, also enjoyed his best campaign that same year when he was eighth in the drivers’ championship.
Both drivers will be behind the wheel of an Audi RS3 LMS TCR II in 2025, a car which Teddy sampled on his way to a win and a second in the season finale of the 2024 TCR Italy season at Monza.
Teddy also sampled a new CUPRA Leon VZ TCR in the TCR Spain finale last year, whilst Jimmy was a wildcard entry in two TCR Europe events last year in a CUPRA, winning in the season finale in Valencia.
“We are definitely really happy to be racing again in TCR Europe,” said Jimmy and Teddy Clairet. “We miss the feeling of fighting during a whole season in TCR, and it seems that this season the competition will be really high with a lot of talented teams and drivers on the grid!
“We are not really able to test before the season so we will work based on our previous experience. We want to enjoy this season and do our best! Let’s race.”
