Dan Cammish signs extended multi-year deal with NAPA Racing UK

Dan Cammish has signed an extended multi-year deal with Alliance Racing, which runs NAPA Racing UK in the British Touring Car Championship, taking his stay with the team to at least 2025.

Ahead of his home round of the BTCC at Croft this weekend, Cammish has extended his contract by at least another year, his second contract extension since joining the team, with his original renewal due to expire at the end of 2024.

It comes after NAPA Racing UK itself earlier this year extended its sponsorship agreement with Alliance Racing to at least the end of the 2026 season, whilst Cammish’s team-mate Ash Sutton will remain with the team until at least the end of 2026.

35-year-old Cammish is enjoying a strong and consistent season this year, sitting fourth overall in the drivers’ standings, sitting 42 points off the top of the table after scoring five podium finishes.

Despite chasing his first win of the campaign, Cammish has averaged his second-highest points-per-race score of his BTCC career this season.

“It is fantastic to have signed another multi-year agreement with Alliance Racing,” said Cammish. “I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with the team thus far, and I am very proud to be continuing our relationship.

“The support I have from the team – along with NAPA – is something very special and I can’t thank [Alliance Racing boss] Pete Osborne and Steve Richardson enough for their help and trust with this opportunity.

“I can’t wait to get back on track this weekend at Croft knowing this great team is behind me now, and in the future”

Alliance Racing Team Owner Pete Osborne is pleased to continue the relationship with Cammish, who has scored four of his 12 BTCC victories with team.

“We couldn’t be happier to extend Dan’s stay with NAPA Racing UK,” said Osborne. “In the BTCC, Dan has been a key part of the achievement of the team and a fantastic person to have in our pits.

“He’s a true professional on and off the track and has shown the speed, race craft, and consistency to battling up there with the very best on the BTCC grid.

“We’re all delighted to have Dan and his family as part of NAPA Racing UK for another two years and we look forward to achieving even more success with Dan.”

NAPA UK and Alliance Automotive CEO Steve Richardson praised Cammish’s on-and-off track record.

“Dan’s been with us since bringing NAPA into BTCC and I couldn’t be prouder of what he’s helped us and the team achieve,” added Richardson. “I’m delighted to be continuing our incredible journey together.

“I have the pleasure of knowing Dan on and off the track, his professionalism is exemplary and mirrors our own values so it’s natural to keep building on such a strong relationship.”
