Tom Ingram finished the round first but has been excluded, along with teammate Tom Chilton, for a post race ride height infringement.
Ingram had maneuvered through the chaos that was the Knockhill rain to what, at the time, was a race win. This means Jake Hill takes the win for Round 19 of the championship.
The podium, now topped by Hill, now has Andrew Watson in second and Stephen Jelley in third. Along with this Ash Sutton who would have lost the championship lead, retains it whilst gaining an extra point.
This is first time Ingram has been excluded since 2018. This was also at Knockhill and also for a ride height infringement. The exclusion will have a big impact on the two races afterwards and also the championship.
Sutton leads the championship with 270 points, Ingram is second with 252 and Hill in third with 237.
