Kevin Ceccon will continue to compete for Aggressive Team Italia in the TCR World Tour, with the Italian also entered into this weekend’s final European round of the season at the Hungaroring.
Ceccon, 29, took part in last weekend’s TCR Italian Festival at Vallelunga, the third round of the TCR World Tour, where he scored a 13th and tenth place finish in the two races respectively.
He will continue to race a Hyundai Elantra this weekend in Hungary, where the series once again joins TCR Europe, joining the team’s regular drivers Mikael Karlsson and Levente Losonczy.
“I’m so pleased to make my debut in TCR Europe and with Aggressive Team Italia, with which I achieved some very good results in the past,” said Ceccon.
“After we made the top ten in Vallelunga, my goal is to score strong points. I wish to thank Mauro Guastamacchia for giving me this opportunity and I’m ready to give may best.”
Team Principal Mauro Guastamacchia says running Ceccon alongside Karlsson and Losonczy will provide invaluable experience to the team.
“We are proud to enter three cars in Hungary and happy for offering Kevin this opportunity.
“For our team is a big effort to run a car for such a professional driver, and we are confident that he will provide us with good advises for making the most out of the Elantra’s potential.
“We are confident that with our three drivers we are in the position to claim some brilliant results.”
