Dan Cammish fronted the team as the Fords made their stamp their dominance with four cars in the top five. The NAPA Racing UK driver made it one position better in second practice taking the top spot.
Cammish set a 1:55.814, a lap slower than his time that got him second in first practice. That along with this lap being almost a second off of what Ash Sutton produced in first practice may mean that he is difficult to beat at Snetterton.
Behind Cammish was teammate Dan Rowbottom who improved immensely after practice one. Missing out on the top spot by only 0.043 seconds shows how tight the team is. The team have not failed to take the top two spots in both sessions so far.
Jake Hill was third being the only BMW inside the top seven. The MB Motorsport driver was 0.107 seconds behind Cammish. All BMW’s across the board do not appear to be as strong as they would like with Hill being the clear highlight of the team so far at Snetterton.
In fourth was Ash Sutton not being able to achieve the pace he set in the morning session. The three-time champion ended up 0.304 seconds behind teammate Cammish. Not only that but Sutton was over a second off what he achieved in the morning.
Sam Osborne helped The NAPA Racing UK team continue their dominance making it four drivers in the top five. Only finishing 0.002 seconds behind Sutton meant that the Fords took away first, second, fourth and fifth.
Josh Cook was another driver with an upturn in form after placing the One Motorsport car in sixth. An improvement from 15th in the morning session left the Honda Civic driver only 0.336 seconds off the top spot.
Next was a consortium of EXCELR8 Hyundais and Team BMW cars. Tom Chilton was best of the Hyundais in seventh just edging ahead of Stephen Jelley. Jelley, who was ninth in first practice, has consistently showed top 10 pace in both sessions and would not be surprising if he remained there across the weekend.
Behind Jelley was second in the championship Tom Ingram bringing the EXCELR8 car home in ninth. Next came Colin Turkington who does not seem quite on front-running pace. Despite being 0.577 seconds away from the front of the field the drivers in between makes the weekend look a like a troubling prospect.
