TCR Germany regular Patrick Sing has announced that he will join the TCR Europe races at the Norisring and Nürburgring in July and August.
Sing, 30, first competed in TCR Germany in 2019 in a one-off appearance before joining the series full-time in 2021, save for missing one round.
This year he is again contesting a full season in his home series, racing a Hyundai i30 N, and he has scored a best finish of fourth in race one at the Red Bull Ring.
Sing also took part in a one-off outing in TCR Eastern Europe this year, winning the opening race at the Red Bull Ring.
The German also took part in the 6 Hours of Abu Dhabi earlier in the year, racing to class victory with AC Motorsport in an Audi RS3 LMS.
“The Norisring is our home race, only one hour away by car, and is the highlight of the season,” said Sing. “Everybody is really looking forward to it and everyone is excited; it’s the Monaco grand prix of Germany in the middle of the city of Nuremberg.
“Last year I was there as a spectator at the DTM finale in the stands and now with TCR Europe I’m right in the middle instead of just being there.
“It’s unbelievable – a dream come true!”
