Cyan Racing has unveiled a revised livery ahead of the 2022 FIA World Touring Car Cup, showing off its colours after testing at the Hungaroring.
The car keeps the team’s classic cyan blue base colour, which has adorned the Lynk & Cos ever since they first appeared in WTCR, and was previously used on its Volvo touring cars beforehand in other series.
Five stripes have been added to the design to represent the five consecutive world titles achieved by Cyan Racing – the 2017 World Touring Car Manufacturers’ Championship (as Volvo), the 2018 WTCR Teams’ title (as YMR), and the 2019, 2020 and 2021 WTCR Teams’ titles (not counting Drivers’ titles).
The team unveiled its livery at the Hungaroring, where it is carrying out pre-season testing ahead of the new season.
Also announced was the teams split for the 2022 season, with Yann Ehrlacher and Yvan Muller racing under the ‘Cyan Racing Lynk & Co’ banner, whilst Thed Björk, Santiago Urrutia and Ma Qing Hua will compete under the ‘Cyan Performance Lynk & Co’ banner.
The 2022 WTCR season gets under way at the Pau street circuit on 7 – 8 May.
