Jordan Cox will switch to racing a Peugeot 308 in the 2022 TCR Australia series, having previously raced an Alfa Romeo for the Garry Rogers Motorsport team.
Cox, a four-time winner in 2021, will remain with GRM but in machinery from a different manufacturer, as he embarks on this third season in the category.
Cox has already taken part in some pre-season testing with the outfit at Winton Motor Raceway last month.
“I spent the day at Winton learning the new Peugeot as it is quite different to the Alfa Romeo I drove last year,” said Cox.
“I can’t wait to spend the year in it, the Peugeot is a fantastic car and we’ll hit the ground running when we get to Tassie.
“Bring it on!”
Barry Rogers, Director of Garry Rogers Motorsport, expects Cox to put in some strong performances in the French car.
“Jordan was very impressed with how refined the Peugeot was and he’s a front wheel drive expert so I think he’ll do a tremendous job in the Peugeot when the season starts,” added Rogers.
