The new-for-2021 Audi RS3 LMS TCR has been given a 10 kg weight reduction in the latest amendment to the TCR Balance of Performance [BoP] calculations.
The Audi will also be given a 10 mm ride height reduction, taking its ride height to 60 mm.
The changes come in with immediate effect, meaning that they apply for this weekend’s competition, although in practice no 2021-spec Audis are competing in TCR Russia or TCR Japan, which race this weekend.
With the reduction in assigned BoP ballast, the total running weight of the Audi is now thus 1,265 kg.
Frédéric Vervisch recently claimed victory for the Audi RS3 LMS TCR 2021-spec in the FIA World Touring Car Cup race in France, winning the reverse-grid opening race. The Belgian currently sits fourth overall in the drivers’ championship standings.
