Swiss outfit Vuković Motorsport has confirmed that it will enter two Renault Mégane RS TCR cars into the 2020 TCR Europe series, with the first confirmed driver being Northern Irishman Jack Young.
Young, 18, already contested the Barcelona round of last year’s European series with the team, finishing an impressive fourth in both races to cement his and the car’s potential.
The Northern Irishman clinched the 2019 Renault UK Clio Cup title, taking seven wins in the process.
Vuković Motorsport has continued to develop the car during the winter months, with the Renault now entering into its third season of TCR Competition.
The car will sport a new aerodynamic package for 2020, along with an upgraded engine, which is now based on the 1.8 litre TCe engine fitted in the Renaultsport Mégane RS road car.
The car previously had a 1.6 litre engine taken from the Renault Clio road car.
The identity of the second driver will be confirmed in the coming weeks.
