Brutal Fish Racing Team’s Dan Lloyd has been handed a five-place grid penalty for the TCR Europe reverse-grid race at Hockenheim tomorrow [26th May].
The penalty has been awarded as a result of Lloyd making contact with the Peugeot 308 TCR of Aurelien Comte at Turn 2 during the first race, an incident that left reigning TCR UK champion Lloyd on the sidelines in his debut appearance.
Locked brakes were the cause, as Lloyd explained to TouringCars.net earlier in the day, and mean that the British Touring Car Championship race-winner will start from eighth tomorrow, rather than third.

The race is scheduled to get underway at 10:35 BST, with Comte starting from pole position.
