JSB Compétition will enter two Peugeot 308 TCR cars and one CUPRA TCR car in the 2019 TCR Europe season, with two ladies – Marie Baus-Coppens and Lilou Wadoux – getting behind the wheel.
The team ran a Peugeot and a CUPRA in last year’s TCR Europe, with Team Principal Julien Briché racing the 308 alongside Baus-Coppens who was in a CUPRA DSG.
Briché took a notable victory in the car in the second race at Spa-Francorchamps, although the Frenchman has not yet confirmed if he will race in 2019.
27-year-old Baus-Coppens scored a best result of 15th during the season, and she will continue for a second year in a sequential-gearbox car.
Wadoux graduates to TCR racing after the 18-year-old spent the past three seasons racing in the Peugeot Racing Cup, including finishing second in the 208 Junior Class in 2017. She will race a Peugeot 308 TCR in 2019.
The driver of the second Peugeot has not yet been revealed, with a possibility that Briché himself may continue to race the car.
