Kris Richard has been penalised for track limit infringements and will suffer a 10-place grid drop for the final TCR Europe race at Circuit de Catalunya tomorrow [21st October].
The Target Competition racer clocked a best time of 1:54.385 – good enough for seventh – before the time was deleted by officials.
Given that his next best effort would have placed him tenth – and therefore on reverse-grid pole for the finale – the stewards have awarded him a ten place drop.
He will therefore start 11th, with Target Competition’s Hyundai i30 N TCR quartet looking to secure the Teams’ title, in which they currently trail Hell Energy with KCMG by 3 points.
The final race of the season gets underway at 15:55 CEST tomorrow.
