Benjamin Lessennes will replace Loris Cencetti at Autodis Racing by THX in the TCR Europe series, getting behind the wheel of one of the team’s Honda Civic Type R cars at Monza this weekend.
It was recently announced that 19-year-old Lessennes would be replaced in the Boutsen Ginion Racing team in this year’s FIA World Touring Car Cup (WTCR), where he has competed in the first six events of the year.
But Lessennes focus will now shift to the European series, as he steps into the car previously raced by Luxembourg racer Cencetti.

Cencetti himself had only changed from Hyundai machinery to Honda two events ago in the TCR Europe series.
Lessennes will thus partner two-time TCR International Series champion Stefano Comini at the Belgian team.
