Josh Files, Danny Kroes, Stefano Comini and Cedric Piro were handed suspended grid penalties for the Hungaroring TCR Europe races after repeatedly exceeding track limits in Friday’s free practice sessions.
The four drivers were summoned to the stewards of the meeting after repeatedly pushing the limits around the Hungaroring circuit.
Whilst suspended, the penalties will remain for Saturday’s qualifying and first race, and also for Sunday’s second race, should the drivers in question continue to exceed track limits.
Elsewhere, PSS Racing Team’s Viktor Davidovsky will start from the back of the grid for race one after his team carried out an engine change on his Honda, necessary after his qualifying crash last time out at Spa-Francorchamps.
Qualifying is scheduled to get underway at 09:55 CEST (08:55 BST).
