The Hyundai i30 N TCR will have its ride height lowered from 100 mm to 900 mm in the latest adjustment to the TCR Balance of Performance [BoP] effective from this weekend.
The ride height of the Hyundai cars had been pushed up to 100 mm ahead of the WTCR races in Zandvoort in mid-May, but the South Korean cars struggled for form and as a result a minor adjustment to the BoP sees them reduced by 10 mm.
The i30 N is still the highest car, 10 mm above the Honda Civic FK7 and 20 mm above the majority of the rest of the field.
No other changes have been deemed necessary, leaving the car with the lowest boost levels of 97.5%.
Elsewhere, the full compensation weight system is now being applied in TCR Europe, based on the results of the first two events at Le Castellet and Zandvoort.
The results see the CUPRA TCR, which has proven fast at the hands of Spaniard Mikel Azcona, as the heaviest car with 60 kg, ahead of the Hyundai i30 N on 50 kg.
