Rob Huff has been promoted to pole position for the second FIA World Touring Car Cup (WTCR) race of the weekend at the Hungaroring, after Attila Tassi had his times deleted in Q2.
Tassi was adjudged to have crossed the finish line twice at the end of the Q2 session, and as a result he loses the ninth-fastest time that would have put him on the front of the grid.
That in turn promotes Zengő Motorsport’s Norbert Nagy to ninth and Huff to tenth, whilst Tassi will start from 12th for both race two and race three.
