Dušan Borković has confirmed that he will race a Hyundai i30 N TCR in the TCR Europe series in 2018, joining multiple TCR champions Target Competition for the season.
Borković has signed for the Italian team to race one of their i30 N TCR cars, where he will partner Brit Reece Barr and Swiss racer Kris Richard in one of the team’s new Hyundais.
“This is the team that knows how to win,” said Borković. “They are an experienced team with tradition and competitive Hyundai cars.
“I believe that I will be able to achieve my ambitions with their help this season. At this moment I am completely satisfied with the car’s performances. The Hyundai i30 N TCR is ready for the top results. I can’t wait for the championship to start, as the car is being tested already.”
“I will use the time left till the start of the championship to test and prepare, but as far as I am concerned the season can start already.”
The TCR Europe series kicks off at Circuit Paul Ricard in France on the 5 – 6 May 2018.
