Two-time British Touring Car champion Colin Turkington is currently undergoing an engine change to his BMW 125i M Sport ahead of race three of the British Touring Car Championship at Donington Park.
The Northern Irishman lined up ninth for race two, but was pulled off the grid as the car suffered a water pump failure, and started from the pit lane.
His race was then plagued with issues, as he was called in and out of the pits, before West Surrey Racing opted to change his engine for round six of the championship.
Turkington was running well in race one before contact with Senna Proctor’s Vauxhall Astra down the Craner Curves set him back.
He recovered to tenth, and Proctor was later penalised for the incident, and demoted to the back of the grid for race two.
WSR have had a troubled weekend at the Leicestershire circuit, as 2013 champion Andrew Jordan suffered a broken turbo pipe in qualifying and has been recovering throughout the day.
