WSC Technology Ltd have today (Friday) made public plans to launch a new concept in touring car racing for all-electric vehicles, named E-TCR.
A brief statement from the global TCR promoter confirmed plans for the world’s first all-electric touring car series, with the new SEAT brand CUPRA to have the first all-electric touring car for the new series, with its E-Racer which is on display at the Geneva Motor Show.
The CUPRA E-Racer is “built in total compliance with the E TCR Technical Regulations” which have yet to be made publicly available.

The statement added: “WSC Technology plans to organize promotional and media events during the 2018 season before launching a racing series.”
