Hyundai Motorsport will enter two Hyundai i30 N TCR cars for Gabriele Tarquini, Nicola Larini, Manuel Lauck and Jae Kyun Kim in the first round of the VLN on the Nürburgring Nordschleife this weekend.
The cars will be run by Target Competition, who have already announced their plans to run two of the i30 cars in this year’s TCR Europe series.
South Korean Kim will make the journey from the manufacturer’s global Research and Development centre in Namyang, South Korea.

The participation will also see touring car legend Larini get behind the wheel of one of the cars, giving the 54-year-old former DTM and Italian champion a taste of the very latest in TCR machinery. He previously was involved in the TCR Balance of Performance testing in 2016.
