Elegant Motorsport have confirmed a two-car SEAT team for the 2018 TCR Asia Series, with Alex Liu Lic Ka continuing with the Macau-based team and being joined by Kelvin Wong Kiang Kuan.
The team made their début in the TCR Asia Series in 2017, running cars for Liu and Eric Kwong. In 2018 Kwong will be replaced by Wong at the wheel of the team’s second SEAT León TCR SEQ V2.
The team scored a memorable 1-2 finish at Zhuhai in 2017, when Kwong led home Liu for the team’s only podium finish of the season.
Wong made a one-off appearance for the team at the Shanghai event in 2017, finishing eighth in race one, and he will campaign a full season in 2018.
The 2018 TCR Asia Series begins at Sepang in Malaysia on 30 March – 1 April, with pre-season testing taking place two days earlier on 28 March.
