Rally outfit Spencer Sport have purchased a Hyundai i30 N TCR car and are planning to enter the inaugural TCR UK Series in 2018, with the South Wales based outfit seeking a driver for the campaign.
The team recently attended the TCR UK taster day at Brands Hatch in late November, and through contact with Hyundai Motorsport at the event have placed an order for one of the new i30 N TCR cars.
Spencer Sport have also invested in a new race transporter, and will maintain the car from their facilities in South-West Wales.
The package on offer from Spencer Sport involves entry into the TCR UK series, full preparation and on-event running by a dedicated team of mechanics, a test and race programme, all logistics, tyres and fuel.
Spencer Sport have a history of activity in rallying, and are currently the official distributor of the Mitsubishi R5 in the UK and Ireland.
The TCR UK series kicks off at Silverstone on 31 March 2018.
