Fredy Barth will make his TCR Germany début in the season finale at the Hockenheimring, whilst Jaap van Lagen will also return to the series this weekend.
Van Lagen, who raced as a guest entry in the fourth meeting of the season at Zandvoort with Bas Koeten Racing, will return to the series to replace Dillon Koster at the Dutch Certainty Racing Team.
Koster, who runs the Certainty Racing Team, will step down from driving duties for the season finale to allow the 40-year-old Van Lagen to step into the race team.
Elsewhere, Swiss racer Barth will join the Swiss TOPCAR Sport team to make his TCR Germany début. Barth previously competed in the World Touring Car Championship between 2010 and 2013.
Elsewhere, Orhan Vouilloz will step into the Swiss ‘Young Driver Challenge’ team as the third of three entrants who are competing for the honour of racing support in 2018, both financially and through coaching.
Barth has himself been involved in the Young Driver Challenge programme and will be continuing to assist in this weekend’s season finale.
The changes for this weekend come as the V-Action Racing Team prepare to enter two Alfa Romeo Giuliettas in the German series for the first time, with Luigi Ferrara and Cosimo Barberini at the wheel.
