Two Asian teams will join the TCR International Series grid at this weekend’s Formula One-supporting event on the Marina Bay Street Circuit in Singapore.
The Malaysia-based Viper Niza Racing Team will add a SEAT León Racer for Douglas Khoo, who last appeared on the International stage in the final two events of 2015.
Khoo and the team have since focussed on the TCR Asia Series in 2016, where he is currently 13th overall after contesting six races. Khoo and his team have also confirmed their participation in the TCR International Series races in Malayisa and Macau at the end of the year.
Also joining the grid is the Son Veng Racing Team, who recently entered a Volkswagen Golf GTi for Neric Wei Chaoyin, who impressed on his first outing in Shanghai.
The Chinese driver was an impressive fourth overall in the second TCR Asia Series race in Shanghai last time out.
