Honda will see their compensation weight in the forthcoming World Touring Car Championship races in Moscow reduced to 30 kg, after the regular recalculation of the weights.
The Honda Civic cars had previously run at 40 kg of compensation weight in Germany, which was 40 kg less than pace-setting Citroën, who continued to carry 80 kg.
Now Honda will shed a further 10 kg for the races at the Moscow Raceway, based upon the lap times achieved at the last three events, including the most recent races at the Nürburgring Nordschleife.
LADA will also be lighter, dropping to 20 kg from the 40 kg which they ran in Germany. Both the Polestar Volvos and the independent RML Chevrolets will remain at their minimum base weight of 1,100 kg in Russia.
The compensation weights mean that Citroën continue to run at the maximum 80 kg, as they have done all year thus far.
