Citroën Racing has revealed the livery which will adorn its pair of works C-Elysée’s in the 2016 World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) at the Geneva International Motor Show.
The manufacturer, which will field just two cars in the colour scheme in 2016 after scaling back its works involvement, has opted to move to a predominantly red livery for the coming season.
Previously the French brand had competed with a predominant mix of white and grey, making this year’s livery much brighter and stand-out than in the past.
Both drivers José María López and Yvan Muller were on hand at the unveiling, together with Team Principal Yves Matton.
Meanwhile independent Citroën team Sébastien Loeb Racing also unveiled two of its liveries for the forthcoming season, with Tom Chilton’s car a mirror of team-mate Mehdi Bennani’s with blue supplanting the green of his Moroccan rival.
