Top Run Motorsport has continued to make progress with its new Subaru STi TCR car during testing, covering more than 150 km at the Cremona circuit without any technical issues.
The Italian team continued to test at the circuit in recent days, with experienced tin top racer Luca Rangoni once again taking to the wheel in sunny conditions.
“We are very happy with the work we have done,” said Team Manager Renato Russo. “The changes we made to the front axle following last week’s test have proved to be effective. The understeer problems have been solved and driveability has improved significantly.
“We are very grateful to Luca Rangoni who has fully committed himself to the task of helping the team in developing the car. Without his experience and dedication it would have taken much more time to get to this point.
“We think that we have now reached the stage where we can entrust the Subaru to the teams that will run it during the season.”
Top Run plan to carry out their first test with one of their customer teams, who are as yet undisclosed, by the middle of next week (early March).
